PILI's Pro Bono Forums & Roundtables
Each year, PILI holds several Pro Bono Roundtables and its Illinois Forum on Pro Bono to bring together pro bono leaders from law firms, corporations, legal service agencies and law schools. Attendees discuss timely pro bono issues, challenges and best practices and develop strategies to expand and enhance pro bono in Illinois. The Pro Bono Roundtables allow for unique constituent group-specific conversations, while the Forum is for everyone and gives attendees an opportunity for in-depth discussion among a cross-section of the legal profession.
Illinois Forum on Pro Bono:
Typically held in the fall in Chicago, the Illinois Forum on Pro Bono brings together a cross-section of pro bono stakeholders to discuss the ideas and strategies that came out of the Pro Bono Roundtables held during that year. A similar program has also been offered in the past through PILI's Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committees across the state.
