About the Committee:

The Second Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee is a group, comprised of lawyers and judges, that strives to enhance equal access to justice by encouraging and promoting pro bono work in the Second Judicial Circuit.

About the Circuit:

The Second Judicial Circuit is in the Fifth Appellate District and includes Crawford, Edwards, Franklin, Gallatin, Hamilton, Hardin, Jefferson, Lawrence, Richland, Wabash, Wayne and White Counties. The Honorable Melissa A. Morgan is the Chief Judge of the Second Circuit.

Committee Activities:

The Committee was launched in September 2021 and was initially chaired by the Honorable Jo Beth Weber. Since its inception, the Committee has participated in the Hand Up Summit, offering advice and legal services to those in need of assistance with sealing and expunging criminal records.
