Resources

PILI-142-1930521540-OPILI provides resources for law firms, corporations, public interest law agencies and individuals seeking to get involved in public interest law. Resources include information and guidance on creating pro bono programs, expanding existing pro bono programs, learning about pro bono opportunities, engaging volunteers, taking advantage of existing relationships within the legal and public interest community and more.

We offer our Pro Bono Reference Guides for law firms and corporate legal departments, to help develop or enhance firm and corporate pro bono programs, as well as our Pro Bono Prospectus for law firms and corporations, to help encourage companies to develop formal pro bono programs. Each of these resources is available in print upon request.

We also offer pro bono programming throughout the year and across Illinois on a variety of topics. Each year, PILI holds several Pro Bono Forums and Roundtables to bring together pro bono leaders from law firms, corporations, legal service agencies and law schools. Attendees discuss timely pro bono issues, challenges and best practices and develop strategies to expand and enhance pro bono in Illinois. In addition, PILI organizes numerous CLE trainings throughout the year through its Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committees.
