The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin ran a feature article on PILI Intern Militza Pagan, a second-year law student at Chicago-Kent College of Law who worked this summer at BPI. Militza was selected as the recipient of the Jerome Gilson Honorary Internship, sponsored by the law firm of Brinks Gilson & Lione, for her dedication to service. Named Partner and PILI Board Member Jerome Gilson was quoted in the article as saying:
“She seems totally committed to working with the Hispanic community and developing economic opportunities for them,” Gilson said. “It is that which really impressed me. Given her background, (this is) a terrific opportunity for someone in law school to prepare for.”
