Brad Lane Headshot

September 1st marks the beginning of PILI’s new fiscal year, and in FY2017 we are welcoming Brad Lane of Brinks Gilson & Lione as the new Board President. Brad is a shareholder at Brinks and a seasoned litigator who chairs the firm’s Medical Device Practice Group. He has been a member of PILI’s board since 2007 and has been serving as Board Vice President for the last two years.

“It is a pleasure to help provide a platform for aspiring attorneys to have meaningful work experience with the best legal aid and public interest organization in the state,” said Brad.

Brad is succeeding Dick O’Malley, who served his term as President from September 2014 to August 2016. We are grateful to Dick for his service.

Serving with Brad on the Executive Committee for a two-year term will be Sarah Bernstein of Barack Ferrazzano Kirschbaum & Nagelberg as Vice President, John Bourke, Attorney at Law, as Secretary, and Daniel Lange of Dentons as Treasurer.

PILI’s Board also elected new board members for the new fiscal year, including Mark O’Meara of Chapman and Cutler and Katherine W. Shank of LAF, as well as two new representatives from the Chicago Bar Association Board of Managers, Pamela Sakowcz Menaker of Clifford Law Offices and Allison L. Wood of Legal Ethics Consulting. We are excited for FY2017 and grateful to our board for all the work they do for PILI!
