PILI is excited to welcome Kristen Rodriguez, a PILI Alum at Dentons, to our Board of Directors.
Kristen Rodriguez is a Partner in Dentons’ Litigation and Dispute Resolution practice. Named as one of the “Most Influential Minority Lawyers” in Chicago, and one of the ABA’s “Top 40 Young Lawyers,” Kristen focuses on high stakes commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts across the country. Her experience includes defending consumer privacy class actions, media and advertising disputes, and complex insurance litigation. At Dentons, Kristen has served as the Chairperson of the Hispanic affinity group, and has been recently named the new Co-Chair of the US Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Kristen’s pro bono work has included criminal appeals and cases involving reproductive rights issues. She was a PILI Fellow at Chicago-Kent College of Law Criminal Defense Clinic where she represented indigent defendants in felony and misdemeanor cases.
Kristen coaches a state champion high school mock trial team and she judges student mock trial competitions at all levels. As a volunteer with the Constitutional Rights Foundation’s Lawyers in the Classroom program, she helps local middle school students understand the US Constitution and our legal system.
Kristen received her J.D. from University of Michigan Law School and has a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
