Chicago Community Trust Provides New Funding to Support Summer Educational Seminar Series

PILI is grateful to the Chicago Community Trust for providing a new grant of $4,000 to PILI to help fund the 2019 Educational Seminar Series.

The Chicago Community Trust is a community foundation dedicated to improving the Chicago region through strategic grant making, civic engagement and inspiring philanthropy. They serve nonprofit organizations, the generous donors and the thoughtful residents who strive to make a difference, helping their bold vision create lasting community change.

PILI’s Educational Seminar Series includes weekly seminars starting in early June and running through August. These seminars are free for law student interns and fellow, regardless of whether they receive PILI funding, and are broadcast online. They focus on covering a range of hard skills and substantive law topics related to public interest law and pro bono.

We appreciate the support of the Chicago Community Trust in furthering this program.
