In early 2026, the PILI will convene legal service providers, pro bono leaders, and stakeholders  for two upcoming programs designed to foster collaboration, shared learning, and innovation in public interest law and pro bono. Together, the Legal Service Agency Roundtable and the Illinois Forum on Pro Bono reflect PILI’s ongoing commitment to strengthening pro bono delivery statewide through dialogue, partnership, and practical strategy.

Legal Service Agency Roundtable

Each year, PILI invites representatives from its partner public interest law organizations to participate in this roundtable discussion focused on sharing best practices, identifying common challenges, and exploring strategies for success. This program is part of PILI’s ongoing Pro Bono Roundtable Series and provides a collaborative space for candid conversation among legal service agencies.

PILI Illinois Forum on Pro Bono

Held annually, PILI’s Illinois Forum on Pro Bono brings together a diverse group of pro bono stakeholders—including representatives from corporations, law firms, law schools, and public interest law organizations—to explore ideas and strategies for expanding and enhancing pro bono service across Illinois.

The program will run from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., followed by a networking reception from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. PILI is requesting 2.0 hours of Illinois MCLE credit for this complimentary program. Due to the interactive nature of this event, the Forum will be offered in person only; virtual participation is not available. An agenda will be posted soon, and advance registration is required.
