What Interns, Fellows & Volunteers Want
While facing today’s increasing and unmet legal needs, how do we best address what law students, law school graduates and legal community volunteers want in 2023? We may no longer be in unprecedented times, but it is undeniable that the legal landscape and the workforce has permanently changed on top of the usual generational and sector differences. Yet, law students, law school graduates and legal community volunteers are still a vital part of accomplishing the mission of legal aid agencies. Attendees will hear a diverse set of perspectives and engage in small group discussion on this critical question.
Panel includes:
- Jonathan K. Baum, Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP
- Kathy Malamis, Zurich North America
- Rachel Jennings, Neal, Gerber & Eisenberg LLP
- Michelle Vodenik, IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law
Moderated by: Kimberly Washington, Ascend Justice
