PILI organizes an educational seminar each semester for school-year PILI Interns that focuses on substantive legal topics, career development strategies or skill building relevant to public interest law. Attendance counts towards your 300 hour requirement.
The Illinois Forum on Pro Bono brings together a cross-sector of pro bono stakeholders to discuss the ideas and strategies that came out of the Pro Bono Roundtable series earlier in the year. The program is typically held in the fall of each year.
PILI’s Annual Awards Luncheon brings together nearly 500 members of the Illinois legal community every year to celebrate the very best aspects of the legal profession: the generosity, expertise and commitment of the countless lawyers, law students, legal professionals, law firms and corporations who dedicate themselves to providing legal assistance to those in need.
