The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin recently published an article on PILI’s Internship stipend increase. PILI is raising its stipend from the first time in over a decade, from $5,000 to $5,500 in the summer of 2016, with the ultimate goal of raising the stipend to $6,000 in 2018.
PILI Executive Director, Michael Bergmann, was quoted in the article:
“We committed ourselves to raising the amount of the intern stipend so that more law students can gain the skills, experience and networks they need to build successful careers in the public interest without adding to their law school debt.”
