The Fourteenth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee is hosting an Illinois Free Legal Answers Training and Clinic. Join your colleagues for this pro bono and networking opportunity while helping low-income Illinoisans in need! PILI will provide a short demonstration of the website and then attendees will work on answering questions waiting in the queue.
Illinois Free Legal Answers is a secure website where low-income Illinoisans can ask a lawyer for help with a civil legal issue. Volunteer lawyers then log onto the site at their convenience and answer questions waiting in the queue. It is a virtual walk-in legal clinic. MCLE Credit will be provided for the training and for the pro bono work done on Illinois Free Legal Answers. Read more here.
