Third Judicial Circuit Self-Represented Litigant Help Desk
Through the Legal Advice Clinic, volunteer attorneys provide no cost legal advice to low-income Madison County residents each month. Appointments are currently held virtually over Zoom. During a 1-hour shift, volunteer attorneys meet with self-represented litigants for 30-minute appointments to provide brief advice pro bono services to low-income families, the disabled, and other vulnerable persons within the community.
Volunteers must first fill out PILI’s Pro Bono Volunteer Registration form.
Once registered, you may sign up to volunteer at the Legal Advice Clinic by emailing Angela Wille.
You can also sign up for the upcoming clinics by using this link.
We have compiled a variety of resources and forms for volunteers to use at the Help Desks. A password is required to access this page. If you are a help desk volunteer, contact PILI Managing Attorney Abigail Causer by email or at 217-693-6017 for the password.
