Law School Pro Bono Roundtable

Every year, the Law School Pro Bono Roundtable brings together law school pro bono leaders to discuss best practices, successful strategies and collaboration opportunities. This event is part of PILI’s regular Pro Bono Roundtable Series.

Evolving Pro Bono Engagement: What’s Working With Students & Alumni

As law schools navigate an evolving pro bono landscape, how can they foster meaningful student engagement, strengthen engagement with alumni, and cultivate a lasting commitment to public service? Participants will explore strategies for identifying, cultivating, and sustaining meaningful relationships with alumni who are committed to public service and community engagement. The discussion will also explore effective approaches for connecting alumni with current law students through mentoring, networking, volunteer projects, and other collaborative initiatives. Participants will identify how schools can prepare students for effective and impactful pro bono service through training, supervision, and experiential learning opportunities as well as measuring the impact of those opportunities.

Advance registration for this complementary program is required, which you can do by completing and submitting the form below. To facilitate participation especially for those outside of Chicago, a virtual participation option is available upon request. Email us »
