PILI’s Tenth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee, the Peoria County Bar Association and Prairie State Legal Services will be holding an Expungement Clinic that will provide free legal assistance to individuals seeking to clear their criminal records. Volunteers will consult with participants on available options for relief, prepare petitions to expunge and/or seal eligible records, and provide guidance on navigating the process from start to finish. Both attorneys and other legal professionals are needed. Training will be provided before the clinic Volunteers are also needed to chart criminal records to help the Clinic run smoothly the day of the Clinic. The Criminal Records Relief Clinic will take place in person at the Goodwill Commons Community Room in Peoria on April 26th from 10:00 to 3:00 PM.
