What are the unmet legal needs in your community?
Join us for this community forum to discuss the unmet legal needs of people who cannot afford a lawyer but who have non-criminal legal problems. With input from a wide range of community members, we hope to learn what unmet legal needs exist and what help is needed to meet those needs. Two sessions will be held, one in person and one virtually. Advance registration is required. Both events are free.
The in-person session will take place on Thursday, June 23rd from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Bentley MAT Facility on the Centerstone Marion Campus. Light refreshments will be available for those who attend. Specific details on how to get to the meeting location will be provided once you register.
The virtual session will be held from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 24th. Zoom details will be provided once you register.
These meetings are being organized by PILI through its First Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee and Second Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee and in partnership with Land of Lincoln Legal Aid. Support for these meetings is provided through the State of Illinois’ Restore, Reinvest, and Renew (R3) Program.
