The PILI Alumni Network Leadership Council has partnered with the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic (DVLC) to bring you an Alumni Service Project!
Join other PILI Alumni volunteers in preparing affidavits for pro se clients walking into DVLC.
DVLC’s mission is to provide free legal services and referrals to low-income Cook County residents who have been subjected to domestic violence to help them achieve safety from abusive relationships.
Friday, August 15th – 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Cook County Domestic Violence Courthouse Law Library (555 W. Harrison Street)
- Receive mandatory training from DVLC staff
- CLE credit will be available
- Brown Bag Lunch
Monday, August 18th – 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., Cook County Domestic Violence Courthouse (555 W. Harrison Street, Suite 1900)
- More volunteer days are possible depending on level of interest
