About the Event
PILI’s Annual Awards Luncheon brings together the Illinois legal community every year to celebrate the very best aspects of the legal profession: the generosity, expertise and commitment of the countless law students, recent graduates, lawyers and legal professionals, law firms, corporations and law schools who dedicate themselves to providing legal assistance and advocacy to those in need. This event is PILI’s largest annual fundraiser, providing critical support for our work across Illinois.
SAVE THE DATE: In 2026, our Annual Awards Luncheon will be held on Wednesday, December 9th from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Palmer House Hilton in Chicago.
SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
We will be offering several sponsorship opportunities and recognize event sponsors on all web and print material related to the event. Firm and corporate sponsorships start at $2,500 and all funds raised go towards PILI’s Programs. In 2025, there were 55 sponsors for this event, including 30 law firms, 11 corporations and 12 law schools. The initial deadline to confirm sponsorship for this year’s event is Wednesday, October 7th.
ANNUAL AWARDS
Every year, PILI presents several awards to acknowledge lawyers and legal programs whose dedication to service, fairness, and justice inspires us and makes us proud. The nominations process for 2026 will open in July 2026 and the deadline for submission is September 4th. The awardees will be recognized at the Annual Awards Luncheon on December 9th.
