To celebrate Law Day, the Coles-Cumberland Bar Association is partnering with PILI to host an Illinois Free Legal Answers Training and Clinic. Join your colleagues and enjoy refreshments while helping low-income Illinoisans in need! PILI will provide a short demonstration of the website and then attendees will work on answering questions waiting in the queue.
Illinois Free Legal Answers is a secure website where low-income Illinoisans can ask a lawyer for help with a civil legal issue. Volunteer lawyers then log onto the site at their convenience and answer questions waiting in the queue. It is a virtual walk-in legal clinic.
This event will be followed by a Happy Hour. The Bar Association will sponsor the first round of drinks for those attending the clinic. Please register using the form below.
