Tenth Judicial Circuit Self-Represented Litigant Help Desks
During a 2-hour shift, volunteers meet with self-represented litigants at the Peoria and Tazewell County Courthouses for 30-minute appointments to help them understand and navigate the legal process, fill out forms and answer questions.
The help desk in Peoria County is held at the courthouse twice a month, on the first and third Wednesdays. It is once in the morning from 10:00 a.m. until noon and once in the afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the 4th Floor Conference Room. View 2023 Peoria County Help Desk Dates »
The help desk in Tazewell County is held at the courthouse once a month in 2023., once in the morning from 10:00 a.m. until noon and once in the afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the third-floor courtroom or the first floor law library. Note, since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, the help desk in Tazewell County has a virtual hybrid option where the attorney can appear via Zoom or in person.
