Law students interest in applying for either program should do so before then through IllinoisProBono.org. While many positions are still available, several agencies are interviewing now, so it is best to apply as early as possible.
PILI’s Law Student Internship Program connects 1L and 2L law students from across the country with legal service agencies in Illinois. Interns receive a $5,500 stipend to work 400 hours during the summer.

PILI’s Graduate Fellowship Program is for 3Ls who have been hired by sponsoring law firms in Chicago. Fellows work at a legal service agency for 300 hours during the summer or fall before starting at their firms.
