The application system for Summer 2016 Law Student Internships and Graduate Fellowships is now open!
Law students apply through IllinoisProBono.org. Agencies can start hiring at any time, however, so it is better to apply early.
PILI’s Law Student Internship Program connects law students from across the country with legal service agencies in Illinois. Interns work 400 hours full-time during the summer or 200 hours during the school year, with PILI ensuring quality supervision by experienced agency attorneys, and providing extra educational, networking and mentoring opportunities.

PILI’s Graduate Fellowship Program places new associates from Chicago law firms at legal service agencies, where they work 300 hours during the summer or fall before starting at their firms. This is a unique opportunity to gain lawyering skills, build your professional networks, and do something meaningful while studying for the bar.
