Spring Intern Seminar: Social Worker Support for Legal Aid Clients

PILI organizes an educational seminar each semester for school-year PILI Interns that focuses on substantive legal topics, career development strategies or skill building relevant to public interest law. Attendance counts towards your 200 hour requirement.

When a client has a legal issue, an attorney steps in to help. But what happens when a client needs help with securing safe housing or accessing other benefits they need to support their family? Learn more about how legal aid agencies support the needs of their clients beyond legal representation and how a social worker can work alongside attorneys in these situations.
