How do we envision an abolitionist future, and why do we need to? This discussion will go into what the prison industrial complex in Illinois and America at large looks like, both historically and in the current moment. It will go into the history of the abolition movement, what that movement looks like today and how public interest work can contribute to building out and shaping the future.
