Legal Protections for Chicago’s Homeless

On August 22, 2013 Illinois became the second state to adopt a homeless bill of rights. Join attorneys from the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless Law Project as they discuss SB 1210 Homeless Bill of Rights as well as legal issues impacting youth and students who are homeless such as access to education and health care.  Attend this seminar to inform yourself on the local lawyers, organizations, advocacy and outreach dedicated to preventing and ending homelessness.

See more about the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless on this video.

Lunch will be provided for everyone in attendance. Registration is now closed. Please contact Katie Pieper for late registration.

Please note we will be in room 805 Lewis Building for the remainder of the summer series.

For those serving in an Internship or Fellowship outside of Chicago, or for those who are unable to attend, PILI will webcast this seminar through IllinoisProBono.org and maintains an online archive of past seminars.
