PILI Law Student Intern & Graduate Fellow Orientation

Each year, PILI hosts a daylong orientation for our Law Student Interns and Graduate Fellows to kick-off your summer of service and learning. This program serves as an introduction to the Illinois legal aid community and some of the struggles your clients face as well as the impact you can have. We also focus on developing practical skills that will be useful this summer and throughout your career. The day will also provide networking opportunities with your those Interns and Fellows serving with you this summer, leaders in the Illinois legal and public interest law communities, and members of the PILI Alumni Network.

Continental breakfast will be available during event registration from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. with programming starting promptly at 9:30. Lunch will be provided and the event will conclude with a networking reception from 4:15 to 5:30 p.m. Though much of the programming will also be offered virtually, not all sessions will be available virtually as noted in the agenda below. Advance registration is required and will be available from this page in the coming weeks
