PILI Illinois Forum on Pro Bono

Revitalizing & Reengaging: Pro Bono in 2023

Leaders from a cross-section of the pro bono community will discuss how their approaches to pro bono have been impacted over the last few years and share examples of how they are adapting their programs for success. Through this discussion, we will share and develop strategies to effectively engage and, in some cases, reengage the legal community in pro bono service in the year to come.

Facilitators and Panelists:

  • Kimberly Barton, JPMorgan Chase & Co.
  • Perry Browder, Simmons Hanly Conroy
  • Hannah Fine, The University of Chicago Law School
  • Elizabeth Gresk, Legal Aid Society of Metropolitan Family Services

PILI’s Forums and Roundtables

Each year, PILI holds several Pro Bono Forums and Roundtables to bring together pro bono leaders from law firms, corporations, legal service agencies and law schools. Attendees discuss timely pro bono issues, challenges and best practices and develop strategies to expand and enhance pro bono in Illinois. The Pro Bono Roundtables allow for unique constituent group-specific conversations, while the Forums are for everyone and give attendees an opportunity for in-depth discussion among a cross-section of the legal profession.
