Held annually in the fall, PILI’s Illinois Forum on Pro Bono brings together a cross-section of pro bono stakeholders from corporations, law firms, law schools and public interest law agencies to discuss ideas and strategies to expand and enhance pro bono in Illinois. This program is complimentary and has typically included CLE credit for participants.
In 2021, this event will be held virtually on November 17th. It is anticipated that attendees will receive 1.25 hours of professional responsibility MCLE credit for this program, subject to approval. Advance registration is required to receive the Zoom link to attend. Planning is currently under way for this year’s program, so please check back here for more information in the coming weeks.
In 2020, this event was also held virtually and the theme for the 2020 Forum was “The Pro Bono Response to 2020.”

PILI’s Forums and Roundtables
Each year, PILI holds several Pro Bono Forums and Roundtables to bring together pro bono leaders from law firms, corporations, legal service agencies and law schools. Attendees discuss timely pro bono issues, challenges and best practices and develop strategies to expand and enhance pro bono in Illinois. The Pro Bono Roundtables allow for unique constituent group-specific conversations, while the Forums are for everyone and give attendees an opportunity for in-depth discussion among a cross-section of the legal profession.
