Fourteenth Judicial Circuit Celebrate Pro Bono Reception

About the 2022 Event

The Fourteenth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee, in partnership with the Rock Island County Bar Association, will host this event to commemorate Pro Bono Week and recognize the efforts of  local pro bono volunteers whose work has helped to expand and enhance access to justice in the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit.

As part of the Rock Island County Bar Association’s October dinner meeting, join us to celebrate Pro Bono Week and the amazing pro bono work being done throughout the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit. Those who have performed pro bono legal services over the last year will receive two complimentary drink tickets during the cocktail reception. You do not have to be a member of the RICO Bar to attend this portion of the event as long as you register below in advance. When registering below, you will be promoted to also register with the RICO Bar if you wish to stay for dinner.

The cocktail reception will be from 5:30 to 6:30. The dinner will begin at 6:30 and non-members are welcome to stay for the dinner as well at a cost of $25 per person. Retired Judge Lori Lefstein will be our special guest speaker at this year’s event and she will deliver remarks during the program during dinner.

Haven’t had a chance to do any pro bono work this year? It’s not too late! Sign up to volunteer through Prairie State Legal Services and/or the Public Interest Law Initiative and you can be part of the celebration too! Click here to sign up to volunteer »
