A criminal record can impede a person’s ability to find employment, secure housing, go to school and more long after they have completed their sentence. This training will prepare attorneys to assist low-income clients with sealing and expungement of criminal records on a pro bono basis. Attendees will also be trained on identifying and eliminating implicit bias. This CLE is free to those willing to take two expungement and/or sealing cases pro bono from Land of Lincoln Legal Aid.

- 10:45 – “Diversity & Inclusion; Who’s Biased? Not Me.” with Latasha Barnes of Land of Lincoln Legal Aid (Approved for 1.0 hour of Diversity & Inclusion CLE credit)
