PILI’s Twenty-Third Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee and Prairie State Legal Services will be holding an Expungement Clinic that will provide free legal assistance to individuals seeking to clear their criminal records. Volunteers will consult with participants on available options for relief, prepare petitions to expunge and/or seal eligible records, and provide guidance on navigating the process from start to finish. Both attorneys and other legal professionals are needed. Training will be provided before the clinic via Zoom on Friday, September 20th from 12-1:30 PM.

The Criminal Records Relief Clinic will take place in person in the Jury Assembly Room of the DeKalb County Courthouse on September 27th from 11:00 to 4:00 PM.  Lunch will be provided.
