CLE Training: Charting and Criminal Record Review, November 17th

On Saturday, December 9th, McLean County will host its first Expungement and Sealing Summit, providing an opportunity for up to 200 local community members to consult with volunteer attorneys about their criminal records. In advance of this event, volunteers are needed to conduct criminal history research and provide a complete analysis in preparation for legal services provided at the Summit.

This CLE-accredited training is 1.5 hours and will be held on Friday, November 17th at 8:00 a.m. After the training, volunteers will conduct criminal history research for registered summit participants between November 17th and December 6th. This work is self-scheduling and can take place from any location, as court records are accessible online. Because the length of criminal records vary between individuals, there is no average number of cases, but there is an expectation that at least 2-4 hours will be dedicated to the work during that several week period.
