Join the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) with Dispute Resolution Institute (DRI) for this 1 hour CLE on Eviction help and resources in Illinois. Speaker Elias Arnold will discuss issues to be aware of when assisting self-represented litigants with eviction. He will also discuss the state of the Court Based Rental Assistance Program and mediation resources available through DRI.
Attendees are expected to receive 1 hour of general MCLE credit subject to approval. Advance registration is required using the form below.
These Virtual Pro Bono CLE Series programs are free, but advance registration is required, and we ask that you do at least one of the following over the next 12 months:
- Answer two Illinois Free Legal Answers questions for every hour of CLE Credit;
- Sign up for one shift at a Self-Represented Litigant Help Desk (Third, Sixth & Tenth Circuits)
- Take one pro bono case through PILI with the Illinois Armed Forces Legal Aid Network or Conflict of Interest Referral Panel;
- Take one pro bono case through Land of Lincoln, Prairie State or other local legal aid organization.
