The economic hardship faced by pro bono and legal aid clients can have significant impacts on their civil legal issues. Join us for this seminar to learn more about how public benefits could affect your clients and their cases, and improve your client counseling. Our speakers will discuss what pro bono volunteers need to know about public benefits and will explain recent changes to DHS benefits like SNAP.
Speakers:
- Trey Daly, Director of Public Benefits Practice Group at Legal Aid Chicago
- Gwynne Kizer Mashon, Associate Director of our Public Benefits Practice Group at Legal Aid Chicago
Attendees are expected to receive 1.5 hours of general MCLE credit. Advance registration is required using the form below.
