Joined by Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton
We are excited to announce that the first stop on the Annual Pro Bono Reception’s Virtual Pro Bono Tour will be in Springfield to visit Illinois Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton! Lieutenant Governor Stratton is a PILI Alum, having done a PILI Law Student Internship at the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights. She also leads the Justice, Equity and Opportunity Initiative, including chairing the Restore, Reinvest, and Renew (R3) program, of which PILI is an inaugural grantee. We are excited to have her join us for this event!
Thank you to our Justice Level sponsors!
Sponsor the Event
We offer several sponsorship opportunities and recognizes events sponsors on all web and print material related to the event. In 2020, there were 35 sponsors for this event, including 28 law firms and seven corporations. Firm and corporate sponsorships start at $1,000 and all funds raised go towards our Pro Bono Program.
Pro Bono Recognition Roster
As part of the event, PILI will recognize the 47 law firms and corporations named to the 2021 Pro Bono Recognition Roster. The Pro Bono Recognition Roster honors law firms and corporations that have made significant commitments and contributions to pro bono throughout the state of Illinois to provide legal assistance to individuals, families and communities in need. Congratulations to those named, whose substantial pro bono contributions are making a difference in addressing the legal needs of low-income and underrepresented Illinoisans!
Pro Bono Volunteer Honor Roll
We will also celebrate those named to PILI’s Pro Bono Volunteer Honor Roll. Those recognized through our Honor Roll have been chosen by PILI staff for their volunteer contributions through the pro bono opportunities available through PILI’s Pro Bono Program. We are so grateful to these extraordinary volunteers whom we regularly rely on to help individuals, families and communities in need.
