About the Event
PILI’s Annual Pro Bono Reception celebrates the inspiring and life-changing pro bono work being done in Illinois through effective pro bono programs, innovative partnerships, and the unwavering dedication of individual attorneys and legal professionals.
The 2026 Annual Pro Bono Reception was held on Wednesday, June 24th at the Ivy Room in Chicago. At the event, we paid tribute to those named to our Pro Bono Honor Roll and Pro Bono Recognition Roster while enjoying drinks, appetizers and networking.
SAVE THE DATE: The 2027 Annual Pro Bono Reception will be held on Wednesday, June 23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Ivy Room in Chicago. More details will be available here in the coming months.
Sponsorship Opportunities
We offered several sponsorship opportunities and recognize events sponsors on all web and print material related to the event. In 2026, there were 44 sponsors for this event. Sponsorships start at $1,000 and all funds raised go towards supporting our Pro Bono Program.

Pro Bono Recognition Roster
The Pro Bono Recognition Roster honors law firms and corporations that have made significant commitments and contributions to pro bono throughout the state of Illinois. These firms and corporations are helping ensure that individuals, families and communities who are in need receive legal services.
Pro Bono Volunteer Honor Roll
We celebrated five volunteers named to PILI’s Pro Bono Volunteer Honor Roll. Those recognized through our Honor Roll have been chosen by PILI staff for their volunteer contributions through the pro bono opportunities available through PILI’s Pro Bono Program. We are so grateful to these extraordinary volunteers whom we regularly rely on to help individuals, families and communities in need.
