The 2026 Rock Island Criminal Records Relief Clinic is a one-day opportunity to seal or expunge criminal records for free as permitted under state law. This year’s clinic is on July 15, 2026, at the Rock Island Public Library, Downtown Branch. Volunteers will consult with participants on available options for relief, prepare petitions to expunge and/or seal eligible records, and provide guidance on navigating the process from start to finish. Both attorneys and other legal professionals are needed.
Volunteers will gather for lunch and a refresher training from 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. with client appointments from 1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
