Especially in Illinois, we must invest more into home and community-based systems so that people with disabilities can live safe and fulfilling lives in their homes and communities as the ADA requires.

Those recognized through our Honor Roll have been chosen by PILI staff for their volunteer contributions through the pro bono opportunities available through PILI’s Pro Bono Program. PILI is excited to welcome the 2021 class of summer Interns and Fellows! This year, 46 summer Law Student Interns and 63 Graduate Fellows will provide 37,300 hours of legal services.
Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton Joining Annual Pro Bono Reception
We are excited to announce that the first stop on the Annual Pro Bono Reception’s Virtual Pro Bono Tour will be Springfield to visit Lieutenant Governor Juliana Stratton! Lieutenant Governor Stratton is a PILI Alum, having done a PILI Internship at Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights. She also leads the Justice, Equity and Opportunity Initiative, including overseeing the Restore, Reinvest, and Renew (R3) program, of which PILI is a grantee. We are excited to have her join us for this event!
