Divorce Informational Sessions
PILI through its Fifth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee and in partnership with Land of Lincoln Legal Aid is holding free informational sessions across the Fifth Judicial Circuit for anyone who wants to learn more about the process of getting a divorce or who may be representing themself in court to get divorced. A lawyer will explain the basics about the divorce process and what is involved.
These informational sessions are open to the public at no cost however, the lawyer cannot provide you with legal advice on or represent you in your specific legal issue. We are offering two sessions at different locations, but the information at each session will be the same.
Sessions will be held in Charleston and Danville at the public library in each town. Advance registration is encouraged but not required.
If you have any questions about these sessions, please email us. We will not be able to provide you with advice or representation in response to emails.
