Through the Legal Advice Clinic, volunteer attorneys provide no cost legal advice to low-income Madison County residents on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. Appointments are held at the Law Library on the lower level of the Courthouse. During a 1-hour shift, volunteer attorneys meet with self-represented litigants for 30-minute appointments to provide brief advice pro bono services to low-income families, the disabled, and other vulnerable persons within the community.
Volunteers must first fill out PILI’s Pro Bono Volunteer Registration form.
Once registered, you may sign up to volunteer at the Legal Advice Clinic by emailing Angela Wille.
