Tenth Judicial Circuit Self-Represented Litigant Help Desks

During a 2-hour shift, volunteers meet with self-represented litigants at the Peoria and Tazewell County Courthouses for 30-minute appointments to help them understand and navigate the legal process, fill out forms and answer questions. This page has information and resources for help desk volunteers.

The help desk in Peoria County is held at the courthouse from 10:00 a.m. until noon on the 2nd Wednesday and 3rd Thursday of each month. Intake is conducted in room 422 and there are private offices for up to two attorney volunteers in Room A adjacent to 422 and in Room 419/Conference Room C (CASA’s conference room).
