For the first time ever, PILI will host a full-day orientation at the beginning of the summer for PILI Interns & Fellows.
Trainings will cover a range of topics, including:
- Best practices for working with legal aid clients;
- Legal writing for public interest law attorneys;
- Succeeding in a professional setting; and
- Approaches to managing conflict.
We are excited to offer our Interns and Fellows this valuable learning experience to provide a solid foundation from which they can better serve their clients and the organizations where they work this summer.
The day will end with a reception for Interns, Fellows, and members of the PILI Board of Directors and Alumni Network who are participating in the Intern & Fellow Advising Program.
The orientation will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1st at The John Marshall Law School. Beginning the next week, PILI will again host weekly lunchtime Educational Seminars throughout the summer. More information about the orientation and the full schedule of seminars will be available soon.
With questions about the orientation or our Educational Seminar Series, please contact Program Manager Katie Pieper by email or by phone at 312-832-5128.
