Over 80 Interns and Fellows came to the John Marshall Law School to learn how to better serve their clients and organizations this summer.
PILI has welcomed our 2017 summer class of Interns and Fellows, and we have a lot of activities planned to introduce them to the Illinois public interest law community.
This year, 44 summer Law Student Interns and 70 Graduate Fellows will provide 38,600 hours of legal services.
PILI is seeking Board Members and Alumni to serve as an advisor to an Intern or Fellow this summer to introduce them to the Illinois legal and public interest law communities.
These eight Interns will each provide 200 hours of legal services to or on behalf of low-income and underrepresented clients in Chicago.
As of December 1st, 1L law students can apply through PILI’s website.
There are 8 Internship positions open this spring for 2Ls and 3Ls.
2Ls can apply now for summer Law Student Internships, and graduates can apply for Graduate Fellowships on PILI’s website. 1Ls will be able to apply on December 1st.
These grants will fund 56 Law Student Interns at 27 public interest law organizations across Illinois.
PILI is hosting two free half-day program for law students in St. Louis and Chicago this fall.
