Each year, PILI hosts a full-day orientation for PILI Interns and Fellows to kick-off the summer. This program serves as an introduction to the Illinois legal aid community and some of the struggles your clients face as well as the impact you can have. We also focus on developing practical skills that will be useful this summer and throughout your career.
PILI Law Student Interns and Graduate Fellows will get to tour the Richard J. Daley Center, where many of them will go to civil court over the summer. This tour will also include the Cook County Law Library and offices of the Clerk of the Circuit Court. Please note, space is limited. Please check your schedule and register only if you are committed to attend.

This seminar features dedicated public interest law attorneys who will share their experiences in charting a career in public interest law. Panelists will include attorneys who have experience in legal aid and government, and with judicial clerkships and post-graduate fellowships.
