As part of Pro Bono Week, the Sixth Judicial Circuit Pro Bono Committee offers this CLE to commemorate Pro Bono Week and recognize the efforts of Pro Bono Pledge Signatories and the Community Legal Services Award Recipient to expand and enhance access to justice in the Sixth Judicial Circuit.
2017 Community Legal Services Award Recipient
Robert E. Jacobson, Jr., Tummelson Bryan & Knox, LLP
Rob is a dedicated pro bono volunteer and legal advocate for survivors of domestic abuse at Courage Connection. He assists clients with complicated legal issues and in difficult emotional situations with immense compassion. Rob is a comfort to his clients, easing their fears of the legal system and changing their lives for the better.
Lunch will be available at 11:30 a.m. with the awards presentation at 11:45 a.m. and the program from noon to 1:00 p.m.
Organizers are applying for 1.0 hour of MCLE credit. The program is complimentary, but attendees will be charged $16 for lunch, which can be paid by cash or a check made out to the Champaign County Bar Association.
Attendees are strongly encouraged to take at least one pro bono case in the coming year.
