First-year law students can now apply for a 2019 PILI Internship.
PILI is grateful to The Moline Foundation for their recent grant that will partially fund the Summer 2019 PILI Law Student Intern who will be placed at the Prairie State Legal Services’ office in Rock Island.
PILI will fund 60 Law Student Interns at 28 public interest law organizations across Illinois during the 2018-19 academic year and the summer of 2019.
Eight fall semester positions are open to any second and third-year law student in the Chicago area.
This funding supports the Law Student Internship Program.
Over 80 Interns and Fellows came to the John Marshall Law School to learn how to better serve their clients and organizations this summer.
This year, 49 summer Law Student Interns and 75 Graduate Fellows will provide 42,100 hours of legal services.
PILI is seeking Board Members and Alumni to serve as an advisor to an Intern or Fellow this summer to introduce them to the Illinois legal and public interest law communities.
The new grant of $13,000 will fully fund two Law Student Interns.
